GEOFF CURRIER

Geoff is thrilled to be a part of Napier Consulting.

From Covering Olympic Games, Briers, Scotties and World Figure Skating Championships, to serving as the play by play voice of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, to interviewing famous entertainers, authors and Prime Ministers, Geoff Currier has done it all in his 40 year broadcasting career.

Geoff began his career in CFRA in his home town of Ottawa in 1981 before moving to Regina in 1986 to become Sports Director and Saskatchewan Roughriders play by play voice where he remained for twelve seasons, establishing himself as one of western Canada’s premier sports voices.

In 1997 he made the move to Winnipeg’s powerhouse station, CJOB and became a fixture on the Winnipeg media scene. He hosted the top rated Prime Time Sports show while also working on Winnipeg Blue Bomber broadcasts.

In 2001 he made the jump to news talk radio where he spent the last twenty years of his career. Most recently he hosted the coveted mid morning slot on CJOB, following in the footsteps of broadcast legends Peter Warren and Charles Adler.

His connection and commitment to the community led to a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Radio, Television and Digital News Association in 20129 for his amazing body of work.

His experience in media will help guide you through any challenges you will face when it comes to delivering your message.
