PERRON GOODYEAR

For more than 20 years, Perron has been actively engaged in disaster and emergency management, with experience in both public and private sectors as well as non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

From August 2016 to November 2022, Perron served as the national director of disaster and emergency management for an international NGO.  Currently Perron is a sessional instructor in the School of Public Safety, Emergency Management Division at the Justice Institute of British Columbia, and a Senior Policy Advisor at Public Safety Canada.

 

Perron has received significant training at the provincial, national, and international level including at the Canadian Emergency Management College. He has also completed a Master of Arts in Disaster and Emergency Management from Royal Roads University where his studies culminated with a thesis “Socioeconomics and Emergency Preparedness: A Collective Case Study of Low-Income Residents in London, Ontario”.
