Climate change has exacerbated many issues, including wildfires, and has a direct impact on severe weather events. It will only become more and more vital to have a concrete plan in place to deal with these climate and weather phenomenons.
WILDFIRES
Recent wildfire events and severe wildfire seasons across western Canada in recent years have demonstrated a specific necessity to better prepare for, mitigate, respond to, and recover from these events. NEC has the ability to tailor wildfire risk assessments and plans to our client needs, offering a means of countering this growing issue and enhancing resilience to wildfire events.
OUR WILDFIRE EXPERT
Zach Ploshynsky has an extensive background in wildfire and is a graduate of the Brandon University Applied Disaster and Emergency Studies program. Zach brings a combination of real-world experience and education that enables him to deliver an end product for our clients based on real world experience. When a client requests a wildfire plan, Zach will travel to the community or client site to assess client needs, discuss the process, and lay the foundation for a strong relationship with the client. From this foundation, Zach will lead the development of a comprehensive wildfire plan.
